FAQ
Questions, answered.
The things companies, candidates and founders ask us most. Can’t find yours? Ask us directly.
Setting up
How fast can we start?
The campus is ready to move in, so you can start your office the same day you agree terms. Hiring for a managed team or BOT begins the same week.
Which model should we choose?
A Plug & Play Office if you have your own people, a Managed Team if you want us to hire and run the team, Build-Operate-Transfer if you want your own centre in time, and Project Delivery if you need work done rather than people. Compare them side by side.
Do we need an Indian company?
Not to start. With a managed team or project delivery we employ the staff. Build-Operate-Transfer moves the team into your own entity when you’re ready.
Can we visit first?
Yes. Book a site visit, or a live video walkthrough if you’re overseas.
Costs and contracts
How much does it cost?
We don’t publish prices because every setup is different. Tell us your team size, roles and timeline and we’ll send a tailored proposal within one business day.
Why is Tirunelveli cheaper than a metro?
Lower rents and living costs. JLL estimates Tier-2 cities offer 25–50% cost savings over Tier-1 cities, and people who work near family tend to stay longer, which cuts hiring and training costs.
Are there government incentives?
Tamil Nadu has offered incentives for IT investment outside Chennai. The state changed government in 2026, so confirm current schemes with Guidance Tamil Nadu; we can help with that conversation.
Talent and hiring
Is the talent good enough for global work?
About 76 engineering colleges sit within roughly three hours of the campus. TechFetch has run global operations from Tirunelveli for 20 years, and 3i Infotech chose the campus for its Oracle Centre of Excellence.
Who chooses the people?
You do. We source and screen candidates; you interview and make every final decision.
Do you hire persons with disabilities and women returning to work?
Yes. Inclusive hiring is part of why TiliconVeli exists. The campus is 100% wheelchair accessible. Read more.
Campus and location
Where exactly is the campus?
22, Teachers Colony, Meetpar Nagar, 2nd Street, Near Government College of Engineering, Tirunelveli 627007. Directions.
How reliable are power and internet?
Generator backup on top of a regional grid fed by nuclear and wind power, and internet from multiple providers.
How do visitors get here?
Fly into Tuticorin (about 45 km) from Chennai or Bengaluru, or into Madurai or Thiruvananthapuram on international routes. We can arrange airport pickup.
Careers and incubator
How do I apply for a job?
Choose a role on the Careers page and apply online. If nothing fits yet, join the talent community.
Do you charge candidates any fee?
No. We never charge candidates to apply, train or be hired. If anyone asks you for money in our name, please tell us.
Who can join the Incubator?
Early-stage founders building technology products or services, especially from South Tamil Nadu. Apply for a desk.
